Founded in 2019 the La Verne Chamber of Commerce Excellence in La Verne Business Awards recognizes businesses for outstanding contributions to the economic health and quality of life in La Verne.  An Awards Reception is hosted in January to honor our recipients.

Each year, the Mayor presents a State of the City address that brings together the community to celebrate past accomplishments and preview City Council priorities for the upcoming year.

Founded in 2003, the Teacher of the Year Awards provides the opportunity for La Verne teachers to be recognized as exceptional individuals who have inspired their students, colleagues, and the La Verne Community. With the generous support of our sponsors, the Chamber hosts an awards banquet in May where the Teacher honorees receive their awards, certificates of recognition from our local dignitaries, and gift bag. The educators are chosen based on criteria established by their school site and selected by the principal.

Taste of La Verne Food Festival and Restaurant Week

Every October, the La Verne Chamber hosts a week long event that showcases La Verne as a premier dining destination offering diners a wide variety of culinary experiences

The Food Festival  features live music, beer & wine and or course, great food!  For one low price attendees can sample mouth-watering appetizers, entrees, desserts, pastries, and beverages from some of the area’s finest restaurants, caterers, bakeries, deli’s and beverage companies.

During Restaurant Week diners will enjoy some of the best food the area has to offer at special prices. This is a great opportunity for participants to take the week to explore the diverse restaurant scene in La Verne and find a new go-to place for dining out.
